First Baptist Church of Melbourne, FL wanted me to do a logo for their Marriage Retreat that would be usable every year, and create a graphic for the current year's theme.  They gave me the idea of 2 in 1 which is a reference to the Genesis 2:24 passage and turned me loose.  Here's what I came up with.  A nice logo that is tasteful, yet edgy enough to appeal to younger audiences (20-35 yrs).  It was also necessary for the logo to work in black and white, which this does very nicely. The theme for the conference was The Gospel and Marriage.  The direction I was given was a silhouetted couple with a cross.  I found a great picture of a couple kissing in front of a sunset, did a vector trace, added a lot of light bursts, a cool cross with vines, some floral graphics, and here you have it.
